The rebranding began with research into archive images to characterize the personality of the protagonists, two iconic professionals, distinct generations but who complement each other in their "savoir faire". Anselmo Mendes has an untouchable, consistent and excellent career in the world of Vinho Verde. Diogo Lopes, recognized as Winemaker of the Year 2023 and a student of Anselmo Mendes, does what he loves most as he says: Making wine for a living and loving it.

It is true that the eyes do not lie, and this is the way we found to project the essence of the work of two regions, two winemakers with a different vision of a single grape variety. The creative process ended up being simple, minimalist like the rest of the process, as it all comes down to 2 Winemakers, 2 Regions and 1 Grape Variety.
This is how the 221 project was born, giving rise to a unique Alvarinho, a limited series, signed by two giants and materialized by the agency's creative team that fully absorbed the 221 essence.
